Malminderjit Singh
Malminderjit (‘Mal’) Singh brings close to 20 years of experience in corporate affairs, communications, journalism, public policy and academia to his role leading the Asia Pacific team. Throughout his career, he has worked with clients in international financial services, technology, travel and retail, transport, sustainability, healthcare, urban mobility, education, government and the non-profit sector providing counsel and executing campaigns in strategic and crisis communications, media relations, public policy and public affairs. He has provided leadership on various client projects, including on thought leadership and messaging strategies, while also providing counsel on government relations and advocacy positions.
His previous experiences were in journalism, as Editor (Digital News) at CNA and as a Correspondent with The Business Times, in academia, with the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) at the National University of Singapore and the Singapore Management University, in government service, with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (ASEAN Desk) and the Singapore Customs, as well as in business advocacy as Executive Director of the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He received the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Alumni Award in 2022, was a KAICIID International Fellow for Intercultural Dialogue in 2022 and a Fellow of the European Union Visitor Programme in 2023, identified by the European Union as an emerging leader. He was appointed by the President of Singapore as a Justice of the Peace in 2023.
