Matthew leads Speyside’s work across Africa, the Middle East and Central & Eastern Europe, coordinating Speyside’s teams on the ground in 50+ markets. His work is focused on advising multinational companies and investors on policy, political, and license to operate risks across the life cycle of their investment, spanning from pre-investment due diligence, in-market risk analysis and mitigation, developing proactive policy and stakeholder engagement strategies and crisis management. Matthew previously worked at a leading global management consultancy. Since joining Speyside he has worked across the Asia and Latin America, before joining Speyside’s EMEA practice in 2020.
