Speyside Group Appoints Arly Belas to Lead Healthcare Practice in Brazil
Speyside Group, a leading global emerging markets corporate affairs and public policy consultancy, announced today the appointment of Arly Belas as Head of Healthcare Practice in Brazil. This appointment adds to strengthen an already robust and experienced team responsible for helping multinational organizations navigate the complexity of Brazil’s health science landscape, including corporate affairs and collaboration for better public policies through meaningful partnerships.
Working from Brasília, in close synergy with the team based in São Paulo, Arly will be working with Jaime Chamberlain, Speyside’s Head of Strategy LATAM, and the Global Healthcare Practice team, to continue our strategic level of work that we deliver for clients in specialized areas such as rare disease, vaccines, oncology, and NCDs as well as global projects from different players in the healthcare sector operating locally.
Arly Belas brings more than 10 years of experience in healthcare and life sciences, having led cross-sectional initiatives in Europe and the Americas managing commercial strategy, advocacy, market access, regulatory requirements, and government affairs. She spent the last six years working with the British Government for International Trade in Latin America and the Caribbean to promote processes to drive innovation and accelerate the translation of discoveries into health improvements and economic benefits. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Research Management, Bachelor of Pharmacy, and is currently pursuing a post-grad in Market Access and Pharmacoeconomics.
