Speyside helped a global pharmaceutical company build a unified rare diseases narrative across six LATAM countries, creating tailored key messages, a Rare Diseases Index, country reports, and policy recommendations—equipping regional teams to lead strategic conversations and engage key stakeholders effectively.
A global pharmaceutical company sought Speyside’s support to create a cohesive narrative around Rare Diseases in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica and Mexico with the objective of enabling public affairs and communications teams in the region with a series of key messages to position the company as a leader and strategic ally of decision makers on issues related to rare diseases to transform people's lives.
We created a cohesive workstream among countries and ensure uniformity in structure but considering the nuances of the rare diseases landscape in each of the countries.
We created key messages per type of audience including policy makers, Government, media, patient's associations among others.
A rare diseases Index was created to be able to compare the landscape and readiness and approach of each country when it came to the management of rare diseases.
In addition, specific country reports and policy recommendations were created for each of the regions to get a more in depth detail of their landscape.
The Communications and Public Affairs teams across the LATAM region of this pharmaceutical company now have a framework on how to drive the conversation around rare diseases and have materials ready to drive key conversations with their key audiences.
